The recent development of the pki.bde.es  aims to achieve a double-A ("AA") accessibility level, according to the Guidelines for Accessibility to Web 1.0 Contents  established by the W3C The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international association made up of different organisations, personnel and the public in general that work jointly to develop standards aimed at fostering and disseminating good web development practices.

Highlights:

• The font sizes are relative, this allows the user to increase or decrease the size of the text in accordance with their viewing needs.
• The images included on the pages include a brief description of the information they contain. This will help users of screen readers or text-only browsers to better understand an image in a text.
• The main language of each page has been identified, as well as any change in the natural language of the text, which makes its treatment and understanding easier for users of screen readers and voice synthesisers.
• The pages have a logical internal structure that allows quick access to content by users who access with a screen reader or browsers such as Opera.
• The XHTML code and CSSs used comply with the formal grammar approved by the W3C, aimed at guaranteeing the correct display of the content in different browsers and platforms.
• The information has been separated from its graphic presentation so that users who wish to do so may browse through the content at a higher speed, should they opt for disabling the style sheet downloads of their navigator.
